About Me

My Story

I grew up in a very musical family, surrounded by instruments, albums and musicals. I loved singing, but was too shy to ever do it in front of anyone.

I remember watching other people perform solos at school and wishing I was brave enough to do the same.

I finally started lessons at 15 and gradually began to find my voice. Studying music at college gave me the chance to perform on stage, something I never thought I could do. I also achieved a Distinction in my Grade 8 singing exam.

From there, I went on to achieve a First Class Degree in Musical Theatre. During my training I performed in SpongeBob the Musical and The Mad Ones  and worked as the student Musical Director.

Alongside performing, I became increasingly fascinated by the voice itself.  The voice is amazing, isn’t it? Two tiny vocal folds vibrating at incredible speeds to create such a huge range of sound. Learning about vocal anatomy and technique has transformed my understanding of singing and strengthened my own voice.

I have completed the BAST (Be A Singing Teacher) Foundation Course, equipping me with the tools to teach healthy, effective vocal technique. I also hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check and have completed child safeguarding training.

In my lessons, I aim to create a friendly, relaxed and supportive space where you can feel comfortable to explore your voice without fear of judgement. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, every lesson is tailored to you.

I’m especially passionate about helping those who feel shy or unsure about singing, because I’ve been there myself. You don’t need to be confident to start,  that’s something we can build together.

I’d love to help you take that next step and discover what your voice can do.
